This visa allows you to stay in Australia permanently.
From you subclass 188C visa, you may convert to this permanent subclass 888C visa if:
- You and/or your partner must for the whole period during which you held your Subclass 188C visa have held a “complying investment”.
- Either
- a ‘balancing investment’ of at least AUD$3,000,000 in managed funds.
- Your partner must have been in Australia for at least 720 days cumulatively over the 4 years which your partner held the Subclass 188C visa.
- You must have a realistic commitment to continue your business or investment activity in Australia.
