Kindergarten to Year 12 Study

Primary students study four core subjects: English, Mathematics, Science as well as Humanities and Social Sciences.They enjoy various other subjects such as Physical Education, Languages Other Than English (LOTE), Digital Technologies, Performing Arts (Drama, Music) and Visual Arts.Students are encouraged to ask challenging questions, critically reflect, develop research skills, learn how to learn, and carry out community service.

Senior Secondary Years 11-12 Course Code: 093594K (WA) 0100855 (NSW)

Year 11 is the start of a student’s preparation for secondary school graduation and university studies. Upon successful completion of Years 11 and 12, students are awarded a:

  • Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) for students in our WA schools
  • High School Certificate (HSC) for student inour NSW school

Students can choose a mixture of the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs and General subjects.

The range of subjects and programs offered varies from school to school. Year 11 students also have the opportunity to study the subject English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EaL/D) to help them gain entry into the Western Australian Universities’ Foundation Program (WAUFP).

Admission Requirement

To achieve a certificate of education, students typically need to:

  • Demonstrate a minimum standard of literacy and a minimum standard of numeracy
  • Complete a minimum of 20 units or equivalents
  • A minimum of 10 Year 12 units or equivalent
  • Two completed Year 11 English units and two completed Year 12 English units
